The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor is one of Wellington’s most well-known Hotels. We are part of the Grand Hotels International group with hotels located throughout New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor has 269 guest rooms and provides a 4.5 star experience to our Corporate, Government and Leisure guests. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our successful Housekeeping Department as Part Time Room Attendants.
- Have excellent time management and organisation skills
- Strive for a high standard of cleanliness and have attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently
- Be able to work in a physically demanding role
- Previous Housekeeping experience is advantageous, however full training will be provided to the successful applicants
**The position will include, but is not limited to**:
- Cleaning all guest rooms to the hotel’s high standards within the allocated time
- Replenishing linen, towels, and room amenities
- Responding to guest requests efficiently
- Reporting any maintenance issues
- Maintaining guest room security
