We are looking for 1 permanent full-time (40 hours per week, from Monday to Sunday) Store Manager to grow with our team. The store opens 7 days a week, including Christmas and holiday seasons (some public holidays may be closed). This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.
**The duties include**:
- In charge of the store’s daily operation.
- Participating in daily operations.
- Managing and supervising staff, allocating tasks to staff and producing rosters.
- Supervising workload to ensure efficiency and maintain excellent standards to meet operational expectations.
- Make decisions in selecting, interviewing, hiring and training new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff.
- Providing ongoing performance feedback, and in charge of conflicts, disputes, and staff’s pay rise.
- In charge of marketing, creating, determining, implementing, evaluating and reviewing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Analyse sales data, monitor KPIs to identify improved areas and use data insights to determine stock, staffing, and marketing strategies.
- Responsible for customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring store expenses to align with the budget, processing invoices and payments, and maintaining financial records.
- Involving with payroll and preparing monthly reports for the director.
- Acting as a bridge for internal staff, management team, customers, suppliers and other external parties, to maintain and facilitate clear communication.
- Build and maintain partnerships with travel agencies, local businesses, and attractions, coordinate joint marketing efforts and special offers, and present the store at community events to promote its reputation and services.
- Responsible for stock and inventory management.
**To be successful you will need to**:
- At least three years of relevant experience in retail/hospitality/customer service, or a level 4 or above relevant qualification is required.
- Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime, and to show up if there is emergency.
- Must be flexible to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts and be able to manage at least two shifts in a day.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Long-term and full commitments are required.
- Be able to pass a police check.
