ASB Corporate Banking is focused on delivering smarter banking solutions and unbeatable service to the NZ Corporate market.

As Senior Analyst, you will hold primary responsibility to provide timely, insightful industry and client research and analysis for Corporate Banking. You will also support the successful ongoing management of the portfolio alongside clients and internal teams.

Working collaboratively with relationship teams and other product specialists within Corporate banking, you will provide input on client ideas/solutions, pitches and credit risk papers to support ASB Corporate's vision and business performance. Utilising your highly developed research, analysis and financial modelling skills as well as your professional judgement, you will make recommendations and provide valid insights to our teams working on new and/or existing Corporate client transactions. You will help lead the implementation of any changes to the portfolio through ASB's internal processes, actively monitor the portfolio's performance, and liaise with / support internal teams on a day-to-day basis as required.

**We are recruiting for 2 positions based in either our Auckland, Hamilton, or Tauranga ASB Regional Centres.**

**Ō pūkenga | About you**:
To be successful in this role we are looking for applicants to be tertiary qualified in a Business or Commerce related discipline and to have at least 4 years banking/corporate finance/M&A experience ideally within client facing roles. A detailed understanding of the operational drivers of a business and how they relate to the financial drivers of that business is also necessary. Your outstanding written and verbal communication skills will ensure the professional delivery of client pitches or bank presentations to win new clients / business.
