**About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join Miriam Corban Retirement Village, Henderson as a Caregiver. We have a Full Time**_ _**position available working**_ _**Tuesday to Saturday 1500 - 2300 in the Special Care Unit.
In this role you will:
- Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
- Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for your own mum, dad, nana or poppa
- Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment
Under Ryman's Age-Related Residential Care Agreement (AARC) with Te Whatu Ora, team members working in the SCU need to have signed a training agreement to complete the following unit standards (or an equivalent qualification) no later than 18 months after their appointment.
These unit standards can be completed:
- as part of a NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4
- as part of a Limited Credit Programme through Careerforce or another provider
- through the Ryman Certificate in Person-centred Dementia Care
