**About this role**

We are currently seeking a **Kaiwhakarite Matua** on a **permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)**. **This position offers the flexibility of being based anywhere in Aotearoa.

The **Kaiwhakarite Matua **will provide support to Te Manawahoukura and the wider Wānanga to support the building of kaimahi capability around Rangana. The **Kaiwhakarite Matua **will support events, logistics and activities that support kaimahi to build capability. They will work with Kairangahau in Te Manawahoukura to deliver workshops and other supports for TWoA kaimahi. The role will develop regular comms for our stakeholders and support our Dissemination Lead around publications.

This position would suit someone interested in Rangahau who’s worked in the tertiary education sector. You’ll bring to the role an ability to write and communicate well. You’re also a strong relationship builder with a communication style and approach that enables you to establish rapport and credibility quickly. You might have experience or be interested in building your skills in event management, podcasting, and other forms of dissemination.

**About you**

You will bring with you:

- A minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding relationship management skills. A full NZ driver's license.
