Night Shift Truck Loader

And now, we are looking for a **Night Loader**to help us deliver excellent service and demonstrate to our clients - that we have what they need **The Role**: - Loading and unloading trucks with chilled, frozen and ambient goods. - Stacking and wrapping pallets including empty kegs and crates - General tidying of the transport area and trucks - Picking & packing ambient orders coordinated by the Pick Pack supervisor. - Use of handheld scanner (RF scanners) - Some Forklift use **What are we looking for**: - An honest team player with a can-do attitude - Reliability with a proven track record of exceptional attendance - Adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment - Motivation and ability to work autonomously - Accuracy while still maintaining efficiency - Must be physically fit with no pre-existing injuries that could be aggravated by this kind of work - this is a very physical job, and you will be required to lift upwards of 25kg - Previous experience in warehousing and/or logistics ideal - Forklift OSH cert and experience advantageous - SAP knowledge advantageous - Have excellent references - Must have your own transport (public transport is not a viable option) **What's in it for you?** - Great work/life balance - Above Industry pay rates - Prove yourself in an organisation known for its people development, with great training and career progression opportunities - Training and support to build capability in SAP, one of the largest global tools used to manage business operations, and to build experience in warehouse operations and supply chain - An amazing team of leaders to learn from, who are also open to your help along the way - Being part of a fun and inclusive team - we love what we do, and we love to do it as a team - Great central location with free on-site parking and team events - Uniform including footwear supplied - Great staff discounts - Apps exclusively available to "foodies" including wellbeing services, perks and discounts at businesses all around NZ **Days and hours**: 9.00pm - 5.30am Sunday to Thursday (with some Fridays) **About Gilmours & Foodstuffs.** We’re Foodies and we’re an unbeatable team of over 22,000 New Zealanders, who are making sure New Zealanders get more out of life.
