**Who we are**:

We’re on a mission. Vector’s OnGas supplies both piped and bottled LPG to customers throughout New Zealand, with depots from Whangarei all the way down to Invercargill. OnGas retails natural gas to large commercial & industrial users throughout the North Island.
**About the role**:
The key responsibilities of this role is to provide reliability and maintenance oversite and technical guidance to the OnGas teams, ensuring that asset management strategies and compliance for Ongas and customer sites are managed appropriately in line with industry best practice.
You will be highly flexible and capable of dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic operating environment - with assets across New Zealand, no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for managing the day to day maintenance activities ensuring resolution of technical issues, continuous improvement of the maintenance management system and compliance requirements are met across the Ongas business.
**Who we are looking for**:
You will hold a tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline and have deeply proven leadership capabilities. You will bring your previous experience in a petrochemical or similar high-risk industry along with:
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership in asset defect elimination and troubleshooting
- Experience in Hazardous substances, PECPR or Hazardous area compliance
- Proven leadership qualities
- Strong customer focus
- General engineering knowledge
- Expectation management from external customer and stakeholder.
- Ability to manage a multitude of priorities
