New World Cambridge is currently seeking a Duty Manager. The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for ensuring that our store is always represented to the highest possible standard and effectively communicating any issues with the appropriate team members or Department Managers. They will also be responsible for solving any customer issues that may arise, making sure that team members are productive at all times and ensuring that the store is closed securely at the end of the night.

To be considered for this role you will need to have had previous grocery experience and a proven ability to supervise or manage a medium sized team.

Flexibility is a must as our current Duty Managers cover a range of shifts from 7am through until 9pm, and your roster will include a weekend day.

The successful applicant will have a Manager's Certificate or be suitable to qualify for one.

A forklift license and previous forklift experience is preferred.

Customers are at the centre of everything we do here at New World Cambridge so previous customer service experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly motivated and be able to motivate the team.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
- Intermediate level of computer literacy.
- Have a high attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks.
