Hawkes Bay is the premium food and wine region in New Zealand, and we at Havelock North New World aim to provide our customers with the best grocery and fresh food experience.

Havelock North New World has an opening for a Checkout Supervisor who will help provide this experience for our customers and with our brand-new store coming up.

This is a full-time position which will include a weekend day and a level of flexibility to work shifts during our opening ours of 7am - 10pm.

**Hours are**:
Monday 1:30pm - 10 pm

Wednesday 9am - 6 pm

Thursday 9am - 6 pm

Sunday 1:30pm - 10 pm

**The role**:

- Ensuring that excellent Customer Service is always delivered.
- Supervising the team and communicating information across all shifts
- Carrying our normal checkout duties such as packing bags, till operation, self service
- Authorizing the sale of age restricted items
- Assisting Managers
- Lead by an example.
