**About the role**
As a HIAB driver/Yardperson based at our CARTERS Rotorua branch, no day is ever the same. This fast-paced and physical role will see you delivering building materials to a variety of residential and commercial construction sites in the Rotorua area.
Your focus will be on providing an exceptional service and delivery to our valued customers in a timely, professional and safe manner. Your adaptability and versatility will be key as you will also be required to provide support when needed in the timber yard including operating a forklift to load and unload customer orders. Your responsibilities will include:

- Quickly and efficiently pick, assemble, and load orders.
- Navigate various building and construction sites with various ground conditions.
- Safely offloading product deliveries at job sites, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Handle sales paperwork and documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers, whether on-site or off-site, ensuring their needs are met to the highest standards.

**About you**
- ** Minimum Class 4 Licence, F endorsement and a forklift licence.**:

- ** Current** **HIAB Certification with solid HIAB driving experience is desirable but not essential**:

- A team player with the right attitude.
- A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.
- Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry.
- Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling.
