**What you’ll do**

- Deliver courageous, accurate and high-quality journalism across local, national and topic-based stories.

- Break news and produce compelling original content daily, including live and multi-platform coverage.

- Use emerging digital tools and AI-assisted workflows (for research, data analysis, drafting and trend spotting) to elevate storytelling and improve speed, accuracy and clarity.

- Capture or commission strong visuals, multimedia and digital-first content.

- Engage directly with audiences across platforms, including social channels and community platforms like Neighbourly.

- Use audience insights to shape journalism that meets reader needs and drives engagement.

- Experiment with new formats and digital approaches to keep The Press at the forefront of modern storytelling.

- Contribute to Stuff’s membership strategy by delivering journalism that earns trust and drives loyalty.

- Champion an inclusive, safe and positive workplace culture.
