We value our team members and empower them to grow and develop in their personal & career goals. **Work Location and Vacancy details** CanterburyRegion Permanent Positions, Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours/per week, from Monday to Friday) Number of Vacancies: 1-10 people **Tasks & responsibilities** - Assist in setting up the job site and preparing the surface and layouts with the instruction of the tiler - Assist with cutting and shaping tiles to the specification - Assist with laying wall and floor tiles - Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, make sure not to break or damage tiles - Assisting withidentifying hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair - Ability to use power tools with minimum damage - Loading or unloading building supplies, materials, and tools - Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner - Follow safety rules and regulations to complete jobs in a safe manner - Clean job site once the work is done and clean tools **What do you need'** - Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage - Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast - A "can-do" attitude - Reasonable level of fitness and willingness to work hard **Benefits** - Work with a great team that focuses on delivering excellence - Reputable company that truly values what you contribute - Good pay between $22-$23 per hour depending on your skills and learning abilities Please note your visa status in the cover letter if you are not a New Zealand Citizen or Resident.
