**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We have an important role in supporting the Crown in its relationships with Māori under te Tiriti o Waitangi | the Treaty of Waitangi. The government is committed to improving services and outcomes for Māori and strengthening the Crown's relationships with Māori.

We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process. We work in partnership with our Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues to shape system-wide public health services across the motu.

As the Senior Contract Liaison Manager, you will contribute to the end-to-end coordination of high-quality contractual arrangements within the national commissioning team.

- Significant relevant senior technical experience specific to contract development requirements.
- Previous experience working in an administrative environment where legislative considerations determine processes.
- Understanding and experience working with databases/registers.
- Significant experience and capability in Excel spreadhseets
- Experience of health sector (or other social services) contracts and service requirements.
- Understands and has experience participating in current key transformation programmes (e.g., ALMS).
- Demonstrates a proven commitment to, and ability of, working in self-directed teams, and as part of a wider Team of Teams to achieve group/team objectives and outcomes.
