Producing some iconic New Zealand beverages, The Pride is one of New Zealand’s large format breweries.

As a Reliability Fitter, you will support continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. Working with Operations in the delivery of production schedules and machine efficiency through minimising downtime events related to the equipment onsite. This includes:

- First response for troubleshooting, breakdown, and remediation activities
- Reliability activities to optimise production and minimise downtime
- Scheduled preventative maintenance

The brewery operates 24hrs Monday - Friday and we are looking for Fitters who can work across one of two shift patterns:

- Permanent night shifts
- Rotating days and afternoons/evenings

These roles will be based onsite at The Pride Brewery in East Tamaki, Auckland and are permanent full-time opportunities.

Some of the skills you will bring:

- Mechanical trade qualification
- Stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring people on a journey
- Problem solving and decision making in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- An understanding of production and packaging within an FMCG environment
- Good computer literacy skills

Some of the activities you’ll be doing in the role:

- Work with the operations teams to troubleshoot as required
- Engage in root cause problem solving to minimise downtime events
- Support with the timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance work orders
- Assisting contractors attending the site for equipment maintenance
- Champion a safety-first culture across the Brewery
