**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a qualified Trade Coach/Faultman to join our Reactive Services team in Ngauranga, Wellington. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines on-the-job training and technical coaching with reactive field service delivery.
You'll be responsible for developing trade staff through mentoring, training, and competency sign-offs - while also delivering high-quality fault response work across the Wellington region. When not training, you'll assist with HV switching, maintenance, and repairs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coach and upskill trade staff in field.
- Support with industry training and competency assessments.
- Investigate and resolve quality audit issues.
- Lead rollout of procedures and technical best practice.
- Perform HV/LV fault response, switching, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and promote safe work culture.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Registered Line Mechanic or Electrician.
- Train the Trainer qualification and Workplace Assessor (US4098).
- Strong experience in distribution lines, maintenance, and fault finding.
- HV/LV switching knowledge.
- Excellent planning, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Comfortable with basic reporting and computer use.
