**About the role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Mount Maunganui team. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers both in our showroom and in their homes during measure and quote appointments, ensuring a dynamic work environment. You will also have the opportunity to cross-sell with our readymade curtains which will broaden your offering to your customers.

Any great salesman will know that weekends are the busiest, reap the rewards of working a Tuesday to Saturday roster.

**Key Skills and Responsibilities**

In this role, you will work closely with customers from the initial consultation to the post-installation check-up. Therefore, we are seeking someone who values the complete customer experience and strives to deliver the best solution for our customers.
- Follow up on customer leads
- Measure and estimate flooring requirements, and develop detailed plans
- Provide cost estimates, quotes, and close sales
- Consult and sell readymade window furnishings
- Maintain point of sale (POS) and inventory databases
- Foster excellent staff relations between flooring installers, office, and shop staff
- Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Keep up-to-date with technical product knowledge

**You will have**
- Previous experience in sales, experience in flooring industry is strongly desirable.
- Exceptional ability to develop strong relationships and maintain a strong customer-centric approach.
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
