As a trusted advisor to the region’s Councils, Wellington Water plans and delivers drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater services from source to sea in partnership with the community, engineering consultants and contractors.
**Where you come in**

The IT Specialist is part of the Digital Products and Services team which ultimately develops and maintains digital products and provides digital services used by Wellington Water, our client councils and our partners. It supports the delivery of organisational outcomes and strategies by ensuring that regular business value from data and information is delivered through cross functional teams and agile development cycles.

The purpose of this role is to support our internal and external end-users with their software and devices and support the ongoing maintenance of the corporate network and infrastructure. The role also works closely with our delivery partners to manage problems and issues, whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrable experience in an outsourced environment with liaison and management with the vendors in the delivery of their services.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Productivity Tools.
- Knowledge and prior administration experience in various Microsoft platforms as well as cloud platforms such as O365, AWS, Azure.
- Knowledge of Apple iOS mobile devices and how to manage/configure these.
- Knowledge of Service Management and Operations processes is desirable.
- An understanding of Change management and Asset management (hardware / software is ideal.
