We are seeking a Butcher who is genuinely passionate about food. If you are motivated, self-confident & a team player this is for you This role could also suit a Butchery Apprentice.

This role could be part-time or full-time - to be discussed at interview. At a minimum, the days that definitely need to be covered by this role are as follows:
Thursday 4.30am - 1.30pm

Friday 4.30am - 1.30pm

Saturday 4.30am - 1.30pm

We could look at a shift for Tuesday and Wednesday also if the applicant is looking for full-time

Our Butchery department boasts a good range of fresh local and imported butchery products. We are proud to have butchers on site that deliver exceptional basic and add-value products.

Whether you are just getting started in your butchery career, or winding down from it, we would love to hear from you. Ideally you will have expertise in small goods, gourmet cuts and experience in sausage making.

There are opportunities to develop in this role, and you will also qualify for our 5% team discount off groceries.

Key Job Requirements
- FMCG, fresh food or food retail experience.
- Trade Qualification preferred but not essential.
- Has experience with Food Control Plans & Health and Safety in a work environment.
- Unit 167 and 168 is preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of butchery cuts
- Great Customer Service.
- Physically Fit and high level of personal presentation.
- Good Understanding of both written and spoken English & Maths.
