The Community based Nursing Team has an opportunity
for an experienced Registered Nurse to take this next step in their career. You
will support the Charge Nurse Manager (CNM) with managing a large team of permanent and casual healthcare
staff.
You will assist with important processes in this
service by supporting the CNM with recruitment, orientation, coordinating
education, performance reviews, service development and staff retention.
In this community focused role, you will be
working with our clients in their homes to support them with any health needs
that will enable them to have the choice to stay in their own home. You will
have the opportunity to lead, influence and upskill this team alongside the
other community nurse to work at the highest level.
- Working seamlessly within an Interdisciplinary Team including

District Nurses, Clinical Nurse Speciailists, Home Based Support &
Allied Health Professionals.
- Lead, develop & up skill other members in your teamKo wai koe | About You
We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse
with a background in community or rural nursing and who has an interest in
developing their leadership and management skills. Strategic thinking,
problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills are imperative as you will
interact with a wide range of people both within the team and the Department of
Nursing; and across the campus.

- You will either hold or be working towards a relevant post graduate
qualification
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current
