**We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our team. This role will primarily focus on managing design projects from concept to execution, with the aim of expanding the target market for our Luxerose cocktails in both New Zealand**’**s multicultural landscape and and export opportunities in mainland China.** The role will also involve delivering innovative designs across various channels to support the revitalization of**our** cafe's brand image and enhance awareness in the Auckland region**as we undergo a reestablishment and prepare for a fresh relaunch.**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design advertising and marketing materials for for Luxerose Café and its signature cocktails.
- Plan and execute designs from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company targets and budgets.
- Integrate Chinese cultural elements, such as traditional symbols, calligraphy, and auspicious colors, into designs to enhance the appeal of Luxerose cocktails for the Chinese market.
- Develop promotional materials, and digital content tailored to Chinese consumers, align with Chinese regulations and market preferences.
- Assist in the design process and translate labels from English to Chinese to meet custom requirements for exporting Luxerose cocktails to the mainland China market.
- Create visual content for e-commerce platforms and social media, such as Shopify, WeChat, and Xiaohongshu(Red).
- Stay updated on consumer trends, festivals, and cultural events to align marketing strategies effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or have at least five years of proven design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience in planning and executing design projects to achieve business objectives.
- Strong understanding of Chinese cultural symbolism, typography, and consumer behavior.
- Experience designing for the Chinese market, including creating promotional materials and digital content for Chinese social media platforms such as WeChat and Xiaohongshu, would be a valuable advantage.
- Ability to read and design in Chinese characters is highly preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work influenced by Chinese culture and global design trends.
