**Casual Health Care Assistants**

**Monday - Sunday 24/7 Roster**

Health Care Assistants are a key part of our healthcare team here at Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay. We are seeking experienced non-health professionals or support staff who will work under direction and delegation of a registered health professional.

Your duties will be to support patients and staff with general cleaning, personal care and other requirements. Each day will be different and you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas throughout the hospital.

**In order for you to be eligible for this role, you must have the following**:

- Experience caring for people in a similar role
- The flexibility to take on shifts on an on-call basis
- Proven customer service experience
- A passion for people and the community
- A genuine desire to help and support others
- New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 3) or working towards
