Experience Required:

- Minimum of five years of recent clinical experience in primary care nursing.
- Special interest in gerontology is advantageous.
- Functioning at an expert level on the senior clinical career pathway.
- Up-to-date with current issues in nursing and gerontology.
- Sound knowledge of medico/legal and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- Clinically focused master's degree in nursing with prescribing rights.
- Registered Nurse Practitioner with NZNC.
- Current practicing certificate.
- Nurses who are currently in the final stages of achieving Nurse Practitioner registration will also be considered.
