- About the role:

- The Assistant Store Manager will have the meaningful job of leading the day to day operations of the store delivering a compelling customer experience through a friendly and helpful team in a safe, full, clean and tidy store.

This role will focus on ensuring your team build memorable experiences and making your customers D.I.Y. projects a reality. Your store will be your pride and joy - you’ll use visual merchandising to your best advantage, aligning this to store marketing plans.

What’s involved:
Support the store leadership team-
- Set an example of best service and support the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers-
- Coach the team on the right service behaviours-
- Assist with inducting and training the team-
- Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements-
- Coordinate stock.Who we're looking for:
You will have previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment and will have an open communication style.

You have the ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team.

You’ll need:
Experience in retail management and/or management experience highly desirable-
- An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team-
- Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers-
- Have an eagerness to learn about new products-
- To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
