Housekeeper/Cleaner

An opportunity for a housekeeper to join our awesome team working at the Navigate Seaside Hotel based in Napier.

We are seeking applicants who care about the small details.
- Who have a can-do attitude and enjoy working as part of a high performing team.
- Who can work to high performance standards with an eagle eye for detail.
- Who are honest, reliable and flexible: You must be available to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

Your role will include cleaning, servicing and preparing guest rooms as well as laundry, and general cleaning around common areas

Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:

- Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
- Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
- Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
- Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
- Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
- Cover housekeeping when needed

This role may at times require: cleaning, servicing and preparing guest rooms as well as laundry, and general cleaning around common areas

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
