**Job Description**:
Heading into a peak time of year, we're looking for a real self-starter and energetic Marketing Campaign Coordinator to join our talented marketing team on a 6 month contract, starting asap
Goals
- Responsible for ensuring all content on the website is accurate and supports GMV and conversion targets considering our wide range of customer personas on mobile, app, desktop or tablet.
- Support the overarching end-to-end campaign management process for all relevant channels including; MTEs, sales, coupons, marketing channels, partner channels, competitions, activations etc.
- Represent the brands and merchants we work with - creating and executing always on-brand and engaging content no matter the channel.
- Not just a pretty face, The Marketing Campaign Coordinator loves getting geeky to track the entire multi-channel marketing funnel to continuously measure, improve and increase traffic, engagement and revenue.
- Using data-driven trend analysis and best practice strategies this role collaborates with the Marketing, GM & Planning, Experience and Development teams to ensure content and ads cover our focus brands, retailers across TheMarket’s expansive categories which including: food, beverage, fashion, kids, living, beauty, toys, electronics, sports, entertainment, stationery, DIY and more.
- As TheMarket trades on innovation and opportunity, the Marketing Campaign Coordinator is not afraid of a pivot operating on both strategic and tactical levels.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
**Onsite & Offsite Marketing Content Creation and Execution**:
Planning
- Assist with the development of TheMarket’s promotional calendar and driving relevant channel support across always-on campaigns, major and minor trading events, partner channels, competitions, activations, couponing and tactical & merchant promotions.
- Help plan and execute the required support for the categories, strategic merchants, contractual commitments, upcoming deals on a regular basis and activate it throughout campaign planning activity.
- Assist with the campaign briefing process.
- Use relevant briefing processes and tools (e.g. Asana).
- Work closely with Experience, Merchandising and Planning, Marketing and Design teams to create and execute content in line with the Trade Calendar for the appropriate channels.
- Gain content sign-offs from relevant stakeholders when needed.
- Ensure content look and feel is streamlined whilst maximising the objective of the specific channel.
- Understand how each piece of content drives customers through the website and ensure the UX makes sense.
- Contribute to wider team meetings to fuel ideas and understand wider website initiatives.
- Identify opportunities and seek new initiatives to maximise sales.
- Ensure content and audience targeting covers TheMarket’s wide range of merchants, categories and personas.
- Maintain brand framework for TheMarket tone of voice across all channels at all times.
Execution & Support - Always on:
- Support always-on homepage planning and updates.
- Review products on sale, upcoming promotional activity, and maintain sale mínimarket.
- Maintain new arrivals mínimarket.
- Update featured brands and banners on category landing pages (CLPs).
- Select featured products for homepage, EDM and social channels.
- Help launch and develop always-on activity based on contractual commitments for strategic merchants and other marketing partners.
Execution & Support - Campaigns:
- Merchandise products and create deeplinks for campaign landing PLP (product listing page).
- Coordinate the campaign-related content creation and execution across required mínimarkets, store header banners, featured banners, and others.
- Curate product lists for campaigns (e.g Gift ideas for Secret Santa).
Targets & Reporting:
- Meet, analyse and report on Digital Marketing OKRs
- Run and analyse weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and any other ad hoc reports as needed.
1-day & Group Marketplace:
- Relevant tasks for additional websites as required.
- Ongoing research and self-development for best practice and personal growth
- Adhoc tasks and duties as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of one-year relevant work experience within marketing or related field of expertise
- Business, Commerce, Marketing degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Good understanding of commercial metrics to drive a retail/ecommerce business
- Strong analytical understanding of numbers and solid working knowledge of Excel
