We are currently looking for **Junior Software Engineers to join our team to help** **support the development** of quality products by **actively contributing and collaborating** with team members and other developers across teams. We have a big year planed and you will have the opportunity to work on big projects that are beginning soon in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore

Gentrack is a 600 person, growing business, listed in the public markets of New Zealand and Australia. The main people centers are in London, Auckland, Melbourne and Pune.

**In this role you can expect to**:

- Be involved with customers, such as with requirements gathering and software deployment
- Ability to take on tasks and proactively acquire the product and technical knowledge necessary to deliver your contributions
- Active participation in all aspects of agile software development
- The successful delivery of software from your team to your customers
- Open to receiving feedback on the quality and quantity of your technical outputs

**What you need to be successful**:

- 1+ years' commercial software development experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Quick at learning new technologies and systems
- Some knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Experience working in a team especially a self-managing team
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and concepts including Object Orientated Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, GIT, Web Services, CRM, Utilities industry, SDLC and Agile Methodologies
Relevant qualification is highly desirable.
