**About the opportunity**:
Our client is looking to add to their water engineering department. This is a great chance to be part of a larger engineering and manufacturing company that can offer you stability and help with relocation.

**Role description**:
The role involves the full range of irrigation work from vineyard irrigation installation, head works manufacture through to pump repair and servicing. You will be reporting directly to the Irrigation Manager.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Plan, design and oversees construction of irrigation projects
- Troubleshoot problems that may come up during installation of irrigation system and during usage
- Identifying the most appropriate equipment and tools needed to get a job done
- Inspect the irrigation system to determine the replacement needs
- Coordinates with surveys, operations, inspections, consultants, and others

**This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities**:

- Trade qualification (level 4) in engineering would be an advantage
- Pump repair and maintenance experience
- Welding experience - Arc - Mig - Tig
- Ability to work within a small team and unsupervised
- Strong customer skills
- Clean New Zealand drivers licence

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
