We are currently seeking a Farm Assistant who has a desire to progress in the primary industry. This is a large Family farm located in Kirwee with an immediate start

The farm is milking 600 Sheep a modern herring bone shed twice a day.

Duties include milking, bringing in sheep for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, assisting with irrigation, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.

Experience is preferred although not essential. A background in farming would be desirable.

To be considered for this position you will require the following attributes.
- Experience in the Primary Industry is preferred
- An ability to learn is essential
- Enthusiasm, honesty, reliability and the ability to work well with other staff
- A mature attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Driver’s license and own vehicle is required, and you must be able to pass a drug test.
- Current CV with 2 contactable work references

A tidy three bedroom cottage could also be made available.

This is a great opportunity for a junior to progress further in this exciting new industry.
