Production Trainer

**The Role**

We have a number of opportunities in our North Island sites (Auckland and Pokeno) and our South Island site (Dunsandel), working within the following areas:

- Wet process and Lactoferrin
- Dryer and Evaporator
- Blending and Canning lines
- Liquid milk facility
- Warehouse trainer

These are hands-on roles that exist to teach, develop, and support technicians, providing advanced learning and education expertise to build their capability. You will also be involved with the development of operational procedures to enable safety, quality and delivery outcomes for our plants.

Approximately 80% of your time will be on the floor, working with our process technicians, packers and batching staff, leaving 20% of your time dedicated to supporting the team to have all administrative tasks up to date.

**Qualification**
- Relevant qualification in dairy processing such as a Dairy Diploma would be an advantage
- ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification would be an advantage

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 7 years in the dairy industry
- Experience in and knowledge of a range of dairy processes including spray drying processes, infant formula manufacture and liquid milk, or in Warehousing for that role.
- training experience, especially 1:1 in a practical situation
- Proven knowledge of Food Safety, Quality and HACCP systems
- Proven knowledge in relevant regulatory and compliance standards for Infant Formula and General Dairy
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
