**The Role**

The Senior Project Officer - Hauora Māori and Health Equity will be instrumental in embedding cultural safety and addressing health inequities within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians' (RACP) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program. This position aims to support CPD participants in developing culturally safe practices that are significant to Māori, within a regulatory framework, to address health inequities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Design and develop Hauora Māori content to embed into the CPD Program across all three CPD categories: Educational Activities, Reviewing Performance, and Measuring Outcomes.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to ensure the inclusion of Māori health perspectives and practices.
- Support the establishment of a Cultural Safety Critical Reflection Framework and associated guidance for CPD participants
- Engage and collaborate with Māori health committee, cultural advisors, and CPD participants to collect feedback and provide additional guidance as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of the Hauora Māori content within the CPD Program
- Collaborate with CPD Marketing Specialist to co-design communication program to promote the importance of Hauora Māori and cultural safety within the CPD Program

- Experience in conducting audits and evaluations, with a focus on cultural safety and health equity.
- Political judgement and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work with own initiative with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work in a distributed team.
