We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. **He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

Whakatāne Hospital has recently undergone a shift review and is looking to recruit enthusiastic Medical Radiation Technologists to work in our friendly Radiology Department, which is a small but busy general hospital serving the widely dispersed Eastern Bay of Plenty area.

The department has 2 general radiology rooms, a CT scanner and 2 Ultrasound rooms.

We have multiple permanent positions available between 0.8FTE (32hours per week) and 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), all roles will be based at the Whakatāne hospital.

**He Kōrero mōu - About You**

The positions would suit experienced MITs, or final year students about to graduate.

This role requires the suitable applicants to participate in the out-of-hours roster. You will also need to be prepared to work rostered duties which include weekend and public holiday dayshifts, evening and night shifts.

CT experience is not essential as training will be given.
