You've come to the end of your second week in your new role at New Dawn Partnership, you feel content to have found a role where you can make a genuine difference in people's lives, this isn't just a role, you have found your "calling". Monday rolls around and this is the first in a long time that you haven't felt that Monday morning slump kick in, realising you get to head back to New Dawn. Being the Centre Manager, you carefully work through your diary to map out how this week is going to look for you. It's certainly going to be busy, keeping the focus on how you will deliver **high-quality **service to a community where adults with physical and intellectual disabilities are supported to thrive, grow and contribute, but this doesn't phase you, it's a good kind of busy. You are now part of an environment where **respect, inclusion, empowerment, dignity** and **collaboration **are key and felt all around you. Tuesday seems like the perfect day to lock in a meeting with your friendly staff and team leaders to **collaborate **effectively, **identifying**, **planning **and **implementing programmes and activities **for the community. Wednesday you have an exciting opportunity to meet with a potential funding body, you know that this could open some new doors and enable you to continue providing an excellent level of service to our service users. To make this meeting successful, you will rely on your strong administration and communication skills. This is a great opportunity to maximise opportunities for the organisation and service users. Come Thursday, your week is certainly filling up To ensure you can still enjoy the kiwi work-life balance we've come to enjoy in the last two years, you chose to spend time at home working on rosters and hiring requirements. You're loving the variety of your new role and the fact no two days are the same.
