Store Clerk

We are seeking 3 **Store Clerks**at** VEERKRUPA LIMITED T/A RIVERVIEW DAIRY, WAIROA**, **New Zealand**. Our **Store Clerk**should be able to motivate personnel to perform according to their maximum capacity. This is a great opportunity to lead a dynamic, friendly team where excellence, success, and people are valued and rewarded. We are a busy running store where every day would be different to manage as Store Clerk.

This is full-time, permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours a week and an hourly rate of NZ$29.70/- hour

**You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards**:

- Assisting shoppers in finding the goods and products they are looking for
- Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
- Ensuring stock levels are well maintained.
- Promoting ongoing special offers.
- Answering queries from customers and handle customer complain.
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to manager.
- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
- Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
- Follow all companies’ policies and procedures.
- Basic communication and computer skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities with organizational and leadership skills
- Able to lift weights up to 25 kg
- Possess a passion for the retail industry and a willingness to make a difference daily.
- Possess a basic level of business acumen and ability to work independently.
- Great team player with team bonding skills
- Available to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Able to start early and finish late shifts when required.
