**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and support implementation of processes, tools, automation, and self-service options to increase the data analytics capability of TVNZ.
- Input and ownership of the B.I roadmap for self-serve insight.
- Deliver analytics solutions, with robust and innovative methodologies, that support business understanding of digital audience behaviour and revenue drivers (covering but not limited to product, content, marketing and commercial).
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand business requirements, developing building solutions that ensure the value of work requests and projects.
- Work closely with the Data Scientist to advance predictive analytics capability and use of A.I, in optimising TVNZ's digital platforms.

**What we're looking for - Tā mātou e kimi nei**

**To be successful in this role, we are looking for.**
- Advanced analytical and numerical reasoning with at least 4 years' experience with big data, developing analytics methodologies relating to consumer behaviour.
- Advanced Coding and B.I skills (SQL/ Python & PowerBI, familiarity with Databricks and Google Analytics preferred)
- Understanding and compliance of data governance and privacy principles.
- Highly skilled in database extraction and data manipulation
- Experience using or knowledge of Azure and Databricks
- Competence in effectively analysing, interpreting and communicating data & information.
- Builds strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a high level of commitment and support for the company and team.
- Interpret and explain complex concepts clearly and in an accessible manner, both in written and verbal form.
- Be a mentor to more junior analysts, supporting them to advance their technical and analytics skills.
- Gain the confidence and trust and exhibit appropriate sensitivity to feelings of others.
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity and honesty.
