OCS is looking for positive and detailed individuals with a spring in their step to work as Cleaners at our sites in Kerikeri and Kaikohe.

We are currently seeking casual cleaners who are flexible to work **afternoon/ evening positions** covering permanent staffs shifts when on leave, must be available to work at short notice.

This position would suit anyone who would prefer to work various days or any days of the week.

For example**:Only available Mondays and Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, or anytime?** we are happy to work around your schedule

We have covering positions available between the hours of 3.30pm & 10pm at night. You should be willing to working within a team or on your own.

**Uniform provided and a great hourly rate.**

FULL TRAINING will be provided, however prior cleaning experience will be an advantage.

Cleaning duties will include, but will not be restricted to: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, buffing, cleaning restrooms, removing rubbish, polishing furniture and simple operation of basic electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment.

This is not an easy job, however we will provide you with all the training, uniform and equipment you need to ensure your success. We are also offering an excellent hourly rate If you're not afraid of physical work and love the feeling of doing a job well, this could be your place to shine.

**Requirements**:

- Have your own transport
- Be able to communicate verbal and written English
- Be able to carry out moderate to heavy labour
- Be well presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
- Be able to follow instructions
- Have an eye for detail
- Be able to pass Ministry of Justice checks.
