**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position**

We're looking for a dedicated kaiako with expertise in **Mathematics**to join our **Masterton** team.

In this role you will:

- Support ākonga to engage deeply in learning that is aligned with their goals, passions and interests.
- Facilitate regular **huinga ako** (online and face-to-face) to provide pastoral care, connection, and personalised learning
- Provide constructive feedback and feedforward on ākonga learning
- Collaborate with colleagues and whānau to create flexible, engaging learning experiences
- A genuine interest in learning and embracing te reo Māori, with a commitment to growing your skills

**Ko koe tēnei | About you**

You will bring:

- **New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate**:

- Strong knowledge of the **Mathematics** curriculum and assessment practices
- A calm, inclusive, and supportive approach to teaching and pastoral care
- Confidence using digital tools to connect with learners
- Enthusiasm for collaborative, values driven teaching
