Sushi Cook

No prior experience required but would be an advantage. - On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right Sushi Cook. - Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure. - Have passion for the sushi and hospitality. - Have excellent food hygiene and safety awareness. - Ability to work independently and in a team. **Responsibilities**: - Ensuring the daily smooth operation of the sushi. - Responsible for creation of daily sushi and for cooking other Asian dishes to order - Portion sushi, placing on plates or takeaway boxes and adding sauces. - Ensure quality of sushi are always delivered at the highest standard and present to customers in a timely manner. - Assist chefs in planning sushi menus and creating recipes. - Adherence to Food Control Plan. - Daily preparation of food with the team. - Assist with stock management, food cost control and monitoring of wastage - Keep kitchen tidy and clean to meet health and hygiene regulations. - Manage frozen and fresh food. **In return King Sushi will offer**: A stable position in Wellington CBD.
