**THE POSITION**
Reporting to the General Manager; a Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible to coordinate and manage the day to day food and beverage operations, specifically conference and catering, restaurant, in room dining and bar service in the hotel while maximizing profitability and meeting customer's needs.
Management and guidance of outlet staff under control, namely Food & Beverage Supervisors/ Team Leaders and Food and Beverage Attendants.
Assist in the preparation monthly restaurant, bar, and cafe reports, commenting on key performance indicators and action taken to keep on target.

Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar room service and cafe areas.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star experience in a hotel.
- An understanding of luxury guest expectations and desire to meet these expectations.
- Hands on approach and a keen eye for detail is a strong attribute of this role.
- Wear the passion for food & beverage in your personality
- Proven experience in meeting budgeted and forecasted for costs for payroll/wage costs and department costs.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team
- Understanding of luxury guest expectations and desire to meet the expectations.
