**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) Duty Nurse Manager (DNM) has arisen. You’ll be based at both Kenepuru and Wellington Hospital. The responsibilities of the DNM duties will include providing clinical expertise, mentoring, resource assistance and response. The Duty Nurse Manager (DNM) provides day to day oversight of the hospital, working with the Hospital Operations Group and Charge Nurse Managers to ensure patient flow, process and physical resources are maximised.

You’ll support the IOC Operations Manager, Nurse Manager, Associate Charge Nurse Managers, Nurse Educators and programme coordinators such as Trendcare and Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) to ensure service requirements are met, and organisation imperatives such as variance response management and capacity/bed management is delivered continuously by ensuring excellent contemporaneous co-ordination and communication.

You will need to have the legal right to work in New Zealand and hold a current work visa to be eligible for the role.

The dynamic DNM team are part of the IOC and are responsible for the effective operational management of the 24 hours/7 days hospital service delivery at both Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Hospital. The IOC supports clinical teams, systems, processes and resources that facilitate safe and effective service delivery across the organisation.
