As a senior BA, you may be asked to perform a variety of business analysis tasks across three streams of activity: - external client-facing assignments across a range of delivery streams internal-focused Account projects and initiatives - DXC organization initiatives **Key Responsibilities** - Act as a liaison between client and other support groups to identify business processes, systems and product requirements - Define user, functional and technical requirements - Define and document business processes - Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops to elicit requirements. - Assist in the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies and other business development initiatives - Participate in responses to sales tenders (internal and external) - Assist in the preparation of project workbooks, estimates and schedules - Develop and conduct training activities for peers and clients - Data modelling and mining - Interpret and understand contractual deliverables including SLA’s **Skills and Experience** **Essential** - Have experience in the Agile methodology as well as Waterfall environments - Understand Test driven development and Continuous integration - Have a “Generalist” mind-set, able to wear different hats - Experience in Business process re-engineering - Have experience in process flow diagrams and swim lanes - Understand Kanban concepts - Extensive business analysis background (>8 years) in software or related design - Experience of delivering systems solutions to support the needs of the business - Experience in analysing and converting User Requirements into Functional Specifications - Experience in providing solution consultancy and manage deliverables on complex projects - Experience in using modern methods and processes - Strong Verbal Communication skills required for customer liaison, interviewing, negotiating, and presentations - Strong Written Communication skills required for articulating requirements into having one meaning for all audiences using various media i.e. presentations, specifications - Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with Clients at all levels **Personal Attributes** - Good learning ability - Self motivated - Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills - Excellent relationship skills both with internal staff and external customers - Able to manage expectations and keep commitments to delivery leader, project manager and customer - Team player - Cultivates a learning environment by providing mentoring, coaching and leadership to other project managers - Ability to flexibly manage their own time to adjust to changing situations
