We're looking for a highly motivated Health Care Assistant to join us in the Perioperative Unit. Our Perioperative Unit covers elective and acute surgery and has a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week acute service. We are a multi-specialty team of professionals who keep our dynamic and busy unit humming You'll work as part of the DSU/PACU and Pre-Admissions team.

Your main responsibility will be to provide clinical, technical and clerical support to the nursing team and other professional staff working within the multidisciplinary team.

**We're looking for individuals who display**:
New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) Health Assistance OR
Actively on this qualification pathway OR commitment to commence this qualification within two months of employment
Understanding of the needs of other cultures, including lifestyle, spiritual beliefs and choices of others
- Proven customer service skills
