Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.
The business supplies short run and specialty packaging to customers locally, nationally and internationally. We’re looking for an experienced Facility Manager to lead the operational performance of our Specialty Boards business in Hamilton. This is an extremely complex and ever-changing environment where our customers demand a fast turnaround and expect us to deliver in full every time.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Packaging, this pivotal role takes full responsibility for the sales and operational aspects of the business unit to deliver or exceed all business targets including EHSR compliance, sales revenue growth, continuous improvement of all aspects of the operation including quality, plant reliability, productivity, and cost. This will be achieved by leading our high performing team as the champion of coaching and development.

What you will be doing:
- Leading our Specialty Boards business - manufacturing, health and safety, capital investment; and
- Working closely with the National Sales Manager to ensure we anticipate, understand, and deliver to our customers at the highest standard.
- Working with your leadership team to develop and deliver the business plan.
- Working with the broader Packaging NZ leadership team to develop and deliver the strategy for the business unit as a whole; and
- Providing leadership, development, and a sense of culture to our people.
