The Bowling Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing bowling lanes, machines, and related equipment to ensure the smooth operation of the bowling facility. This position requires a strong understanding of bowling technology, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to quickly resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- **Lane & Equipment Maintenance**: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair bowling lanes, ball returns, pinsetters, scoring systems, and other bowling equipment.
- **Troubleshooting & Repairs**: Quickly identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues in the bowling equipment and systems. Troubleshoot problems related to pinsetters, ball return systems, lane issues, and scoring equipment.
- **Preventative Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and preventative measures to reduce the likelihood of equipment malfunctions. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting bowling machines and related components.
- **System Upgrades & Installations**: Assist with the installation of new bowling equipment, including new lanes, pinsetters, and scoring systems. Assist with upgrades to existing equipment as needed.
- **Customer Support**: Provide on-the-spot support for customers, especially when they experience issues with the bowling equipment. Ensure customer satisfaction by minimizing disruptions during gameplay.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and service schedules. Ensure that all equipment maintenance is documented and updated regularly.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and facility standards. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- **Collaborate with Management**: Work closely with facility managers and other team members to coordinate repair schedules, maintenance routines, and necessary equipment orders.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
