We need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry Chatswood Retirement Village Kitchen, located in Christchurch caters for 100 residents providing a full range of aged care needs in a warm supportive home environment.
What you’ll do:
- ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.
- assist with service and clearing away afterwards.
- support the chef with some basic food preparation.
- top up supplies, help to keep the kitchen running smoothly, and left clean and tidy at the end of shift.
Who You Are:
- show attention to detail, and good time management skills.
- able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
- maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment.
- be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude.
- friendly and engaging and know what it means to deliver outstanding customer service.
- able to take initiative and work unsupervised as the last part of the shift will be after the chef has left for the day.
