Cornwall Medical Centre is a busy medical center located in Royal Oak, Auckland. Our team currently consists of 6 GP’s, 2 locum doctors, 5 nurses, 1 practice manager & 6 receptionists.

**We have an exciting opportunity to expand our wonderful team.**

The role is for approximately 9 hours per week & will fit someone with an outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with clients, is empathetic and calm under pressure and is willing to be flexible and supportive of colleagues within the practice. This role will be a mainly of front-line reception work.

**Duties may include**:
Front-line reception work:
Meet and greet patients in a friendly and timely manner

Arrive and check in patients

Answering incoming telephone calls

Booking appointments in person and on phone

Cash handling

General reception desk duties

**Key requirements/attributes include**:
A friendly and caring nature

Trustworthy

Enthusiastic, punctual and well-presented

Willingness to learn with a positive “can-do” attitude

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Great attention to detail and good prioritizing skills

Able to maintain the strictest standards of patient confidentiality

Has prior experience in medical reception work and our patient management system (Med-Tech) is ideal but not mandatory.

Is prepared to cover leave & sick leave.
