They are known throughout the industry for the delivery, operation and maintenance of high quality, cost effective projects to major power generators. They have offices on every continent and are currently experiencing a significant period of worldwide growth.

**About the role**
The Commissioning Engineer will work with the existing project team on a major wind farm. The role is working with new technology to the market and will require a high level of diligence and a keen eye for detail. You will be required to be on site the majority of time checking contractors work and ensuring excellent standards of work are adhered too. You will be responsible for overseeing and finalising completions and working with the commissioning teams.

**Duties**
- Manage installation QA documentation where required (e.g. ITP's, Permit, SWMS etc.)
- Overseas contractors work and assist in completions
- Train and educate staff and contractors on quality
- Visibly show and ensure compliance with the quality, environment, health and safety requirements of the projects
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous Site based Project/Commissioning experience
- Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Wind Farm experience (preferable)
- Able to work on site in New Zealand as required
- Good knowledge of construction site practices applicable legislation and QA management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Details**
- Project near Napier, NZ
- October 23 start
- 6-month contract - possible to extend
- Must be flexible for regular site work (FIFO)
- Accommodation and travel provided for site work
- Good daily/hourly rates
