We are seeking an enthusiastic & fun team player to join our friendly Decorator team at Mitre10 MEGA Taupo. We're passionate about our customers and have a store that values its people.
This role is within our Colour Centre, which also includes electrical, storage and flooring products. So if transforming a space or surface with colour is your passion, then your destination is our Paint & Decorating department. Paints, stains, oils, and all the accessories needed to undertake a painting or decorating project are found within this department - and your knowledge or interest in this area will help you succeed. Your daily duties will vary from customer service, mixing paint, replenishing shelves, merchandising new products and much more.
For this position we are looking for someone who has:
- Enthusiasm and team spirit;
- Enjoys interacting with people and be Customer Focused;
- Good time management;
- Physically fit;
- A positive and enthusiastic “can do” attitude and retain a positive demeanor even in the face of difficulties;
- A willingness to learn; and
- Excellent communication skills.
Previous retail experience and/or experience within this industry will be viewed very favourably.
This is a full time role which will include working 1 day over the weekend.
