New World Cambridge is currently seeking a Checkout Manager. Our Customers are at the centre of everything we do so previous customer service experience is essential.
To be considered for this role you will need to have had previous Management experience and a proven ability to supervise or manage a medium sized team.
**The successful applicant for this role will**:
- Be responsible for ensuring the department is always presented to the highest possible standard and effectively communicating any issues with the appropriate team members or Department Managers.
- Be responsible for solving any customer issues that may arise.
- Roster to ensure adequate staff levels at all times, keeping in line with wage percentage targets and budget.
- Have a Manager's Certificate.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Storeline computing system.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Logical thinking, reasoning and problem solving.
- Highly motivated and be able to motivate the team.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
- Good level of computer literacy.
- Have high attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks.

The hours of this role may include early morning starts, late night closes and will include one weekend shift.
