**Job Description**:
We are currently looking for an Inventory Team Leader to join our Distribution Centre team in Wiri, Auckland. In this role, you will be critical to the Distribution Centre Operations managing the inventory replenishment process.

This role is accountable for ensuring designated areas of the Distribution Centre are supervised and maintained efficiently. Assisting the Department Manager, you’ll help to manage all direct reports ensuring they have the necessary skills/experience to complete their roles efficiently. You are rigorous and continuous in pursuit of opportunities available to reduce operating costs and to increase efficiency and productivity throughout the team.

As a Team Leader your primary role will be leading the team responsible for:
Inventory
- Maintaining inventory and stock levels in the warehouse
- Traffic management of the vehicles and people in and around the site
- Accuracy and quality of products and locations, operating in a productive and safe work environment

Dispatch and Inwards
- Supporting the dispatch and Inwards team
- Working with management
- Ensure all approved Health and Safety, Loss Prevention (security) and sustainability initiatives are implemented and maintained
- Ensure all appropriate reporting is completed to agreed deadlines.

**The hours for this position is Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm**

**Qualifications**:
With a track record of logistics and operational experience, you’re a strong planner with excellent communication skills. You’re also people, team and customer-centric in your approach, you have a strong track record and ability to lead by example; coaching, motivating and people management skills to ensure all projects and daily activities run smoothly to meet all designated KPIs.
