Our Communications Manager plays an import role at PSEC and is responsible for the delivery of our regular and ongoing internal communications pieces as well as taking ownership for the Annual Report and other publications such as the PSEC magazine.

As part of the Fundraising, Communications and Marketing team, you will enjoy working collaboratively across PSEC to coordinate communications for our three services - Family Works, Enliven Disability and Enliven Older People Services.

Responsibilities will include website, intranet, internal communications, liaison with media, social media platforms and a variety of e-comms opportunities. You will also support projects and programmes of work from various areas of the business on an as required basis.

This is a busy and challenging role that requires a creative person with a high range of communication skills and is good at juggling competing demands. The key to success in this role is a solid foundation in communications and experience using a range of software and technology tools to deliver messaging. The ability to build strong relationships is essential both internally and externally with supporters and the wider community.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, is passionate about engaging with our staff, and is keen to create communications targeted to both an internal and external audience. The team is supportive and inclusive, with everyone contributing ideas and giving feedback to strategies, stories and activity.
